June Bug

Dear Blog,

Do you know how goofy my baby is? If you don't then see photos below.

I think it's possible I subconsciously facilitate this kind of behavior in her.

These were all taken about 2 months ago.

Clearly she doesn't dress herself yet so I'm the one who made her look like this but it wasn't deliberate. And she was so joyful and playful in it that it seemed as though she preferred to be dressed this way.

Have you ever seen such a cheeky profile? I love kissing those cheeks!

These pictures are just cute.

Now, if you want to see Juniper in action you must watch this video. But skip to 1:30. The beginning part she isn't doing much.

Anyway, that's it! I know I'm not much of a writer the post but that's not what's special about this now is it?

Sincerely,
Emily Wilcock

"Television: chewing gum for the eyes" ~ Frank Lloyd Wright

Dear Blog,

So, I'm going to pretend that it hasn't been over one month since my last post (even though I just acknowledged it) and move right ahead. No looking back, no catching up (except for Valentine's Day), no feeling bad that I've slacked off with the blogging. Not that I have been feeling bad.

Well, we got a new television. I almost thought I would never see the day this would happen but thanks to our tax return we were able to replace the old, heavy box that I got rid of nearly a year ago. Even though we are watching a little bit of TV now, we got it primarily to watch movies. We started getting really sick of watching movies on the tiny laptop screen.

There might be one problem. Juni is really liking the tube. She's like me where she can sit for long extended periods of a time because she gets sucked in to anything that's on.

It's so cute though. Sitting in her little arm chair all comfy and cozy eating a snack. I think it's a nice treat (for both of us) and I don't feel shame for this eat-in-front-of-TV situation. Would you? You know what, don't answer that.

Point is we love it. I get to watch Oprah again!!!

Sincerely,
Emily Wilcock
